The Included Lifetime Warranty at Carrollton Hyundai provides no-cost coverage on the engine, transmission, and drive axle components of qualifying new Hyundai vehicles. Coverage lasts for as long as you own the vehicle, as long as the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule is followed.

Which vehicles qualify for the Lifetime Warranty?

The warranty applies to qualifying new vehicles purchased from Carrollton Hyundai. Electric vehicles, vehicles used for commercial purposes, and vehicles modified from their original factory configuration are not eligible. See dealer for complete eligibility details.

Does the Lifetime Warranty cost anything extra?

No. The Lifetime Warranty is included at no additional cost with every qualifying new vehicle purchase from Carrollton Hyundai. There is no separate charge or add-on fee.

What do I need to do to keep the warranty active?

Follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule. At a minimum, have your oil and filter changed every 12 months or 10,000 miles (whichever comes first). Keep service receipts with dates and mileage. Return to Carrollton Hyundai for a complimentary inspection every 30,000 miles. A grace period of up to 30 days or 1,500 miles applies.

Can I get my vehicle serviced somewhere other than Carrollton Hyundai?

Yes. Routine maintenance may be performed at any licensed repair facility. However, the required 30,000-mile inspections must be completed at Carrollton Hyundai. Regardless of where you service, always keep verifiable receipts showing date and mileage.

How do I file a warranty claim?

To keep this limited warranty valid, you must have your vehicle serviced as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Unless required more frequently by the vehicle manufacturer, you must have your oil and filter changed at a minimum of every 10,000 miles or 12 months, whichever occurs first. If requested, proof of required service including verifiable receipts showing date and mileage of the vehicle at the time of service must be presented in order to have repairs begun on your vehicle. Service within 1,500 miles and/or 30 days of the required interval shall be considered compliance under the terms of this limited warranty. We recommend that you return to the issuing dealer for your vehicle’s service; however, recommended services may be performed by any licensed repair facility.

Upon our request, and before you have any repairs begun on your vehicle, you must provide proof that all recommended services have been completed per your vehicle Owner’s Guide, including verifiable receipts showing date and mileage of the vehicle at the time of such service. Service within 1,500 miles and/or 30 days of the recommended service interval will not void the terms of the service requirements under this limited warranty.

You must return to your issuing dealer for a complimentary inspection at 30,000-mile intervals beginning at 30,000 miles on the odometer or at the first 30,000-mile interval during which you own your vehicle. Inspections performed within 1,500 miles of the required service interval will not void the terms of this limited warranty.

Upon customary and reasonable notice of the occurrence of a mechanical breakdown or failure, you shall protect the vehicle from further damage, whether or not such mechanical breakdown or failure is covered by this limited warranty. Any operation of the vehicle that results in further damage, related to the original mechanical breakdown or failure, shall be considered your failure to protect the vehicle and shall not be covered under this limited warranty. You are responsible for making sure the oil warning light/gauge and the temperature warning light/gauge are functioning before driving the vehicle.

You are required to immediately have your vehicle inspected to diagnose the problem when either of these lights/gauges indicates a problem. You must give your authorization to the repair facility for teardown to diagnose a problem. You may have your vehicle repaired at the issuing dealer listed in the Customer Information section or any licensed repair facility. You must obtain authorization from the administrator prior to beginning any repairs covered by this limited warranty.

You must keep receipts which verify the vehicle identification number, work orders, and other documentation that shows the date, description of your vehicle, mileage, and maintenance services performed under this limited warranty or the vehicle Owner’s Guide. We may require you to furnish us with proof that the specified services have been performed as required by this limited warranty. Failure to show proof of service may result in the denial of coverage under this limited warranty.
